About AZUR

Throughout my career as an educator and therapist, I have worked in communities where I have seen many different people with many different types of lives and struggles. I specialize in being authentic and present with my clients no matter what they bring to the sessions. I consider myself a general practitioner of the art of listening and collaborating to create change.

I appreciate working with people to help them understand their internal processes, their environmental challenges and their overall capabilities. It takes a certain courage to engage in therapy and seek help in taking care of oneself. I respect this courage deeply and honor working with others in an authentic, empathic and non-judgmental manner.

I started Azur Psychotherapy as a way for me to be unencumbered by the mission and methods of others in providing therapeutic and consultation services. I purposefully do not have a significantly busy schedule from week to week so that I can give my full attention to the people with whom I am working. This is one of the ways in which I take care of my own mental well-being so that I can be present in helping others to do the same.
